Nina and Ashik Lynch
Byron Katie Workshop leaders
Nina:
I had not been raised in any religious tradition, just a token Christianity which mostly consisted of loving to sing hymns in school assembly. From then until now I have not stopped searching for God, for myself, for peace of mind, enlightenment, whatever you call it. I did TM, searched for gurus in India and became a disciple of Osho Rajneesh nearly 30 years ago. I traveled all over North America and Europe and lived in Japan for four years.
I have done regular meditation practice for 30 years. When I met Byron Katie and started to do The Work daily my internal and external life totally changed. It is the key that I needed to unlock my meditation. Now my mind is clearer, stress is disappearing, joy is abundant. If you really want to know and live the Truth, this Work is for you; if you want to be happier and have less stress in your life this Work is for you; if you want better and happier relationships this work is for you. It is "the fast track".
I am grateful to this Work that Katie shares with us and would love to support you in finding your way with it.
Ashik:
I am now 57 years old and recognizing, at last, how little I know. I studied philosophy in Oxford in the 60s and the same light leads me still. How does my mind work? I followed the Perennial Philosophy wherever it led me, through psychedelics, chaos, music, beauty, and meditation. Living for years with Osho and now with the ancient pines in high Colorado I dig deeper into the stillness at the center of all things.
A chance meeting in Kyoto led me to Katie, and within hours I knew that The Work was a new broom made perfectly to chase out the cobwebs of my mind. These days I keep busy building websites, poems, music, and our house, walking the dogs and doing The Work. What a blessed life.
If you want to follow this road I am here for you.
